PHCA works to prepare high school students for the next phase of their lives whether it be employment or enrollment in post-secondary education.
Students are encouraged to grow into the men and women God created them to be as well as to learn how their faith applies to their interests and the challenges they may face as they leave PHCA. Not only are our high school courses rigorous and challenging, they are filtered through a Biblical worldview as well.
Academic Program
We are committed to providing a rigorous academic program that challenges and inspires our students to reach their full potential. With a focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, we prepare our students for success in college and beyond.
Certified Teachers
Our caring and certified teachers are passionate about education and dedicated to the success of each student. They create a supportive learning environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and motivated to excel academically and personally.
Small Class Sizes
With small class sizes, we ensure that each student receives individual attention and personalized instruction. This allows our teachers to tailor their teaching methods to meet the unique needs of every student, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning experience.
Beyond the Classroom
Students have opportunities outside of the traditional classroom to explore their skills and career opportunities through CTC and Summit Tech; students may also choose to participate in the A+ program, or to take dual credit classes through our partnership with Evangel University. A variety of extracurricular activities including athletics, fine arts, and Bible studies are available as well.
Dual Credit Classes
Partnerships with Technical Programs
We believe part of cultivating a Biblical worldview includes serving others in both our school and community. Students in 9th – 12th grades are required to complete 15 hours of community service each year, resulting in a total of 60 hours of community service throughout their high school career. They are able to complete this requirement via church or community programs, or through school sponsored mission trips or service opportunities.
