At PHCA, we pride ourselves on our tight-knit community of dedicated teachers and students who share a common goal – growing in their personal relationship with Christ. Our teachers are not just educators; they are mentors on a mission to guide and support students in every area of growth.
Students love our annual Spiritual Emphasis Week, a special time where the entire school comes together to focus on spiritual growth. This week sets the tone for the rest of the school year, providing a foundation for students to deepen their faith and understanding of God’s love.
Our high school students culminate Spiritual Emphasis Week with an overnight retreat designed to foster deeper relationships and spiritual growth. It’s a time of reflection, renewal, and connection with peers who share similar values and beliefs.
“Each day 5th grade students enter the classroom and have a designated place on the board to write prayer requests. Once the class starts for the day they pray together as a group over the requests listed on the board; allowing our students to be heard by God, and to feel seen by one another.”
Putting our Faith into Action
At PHCA, we believe in fostering not just academic excellence but also nurturing a strong foundation of faith that inspires our students to put their beliefs into action. Through various service opportunities both locally and globally, we encourage our students to make a positive impact in the world around them.
Our Church Partnership Program provides students with hands-on experiences to serve their local community; our students learn the value of giving back and being a light in their own neighborhoods.
High school students at PHCA have the unique opportunity to participate in mission trips each summer, where they can experience serving others in different parts of the country/world firsthand.
Additionally, through our support for Chozi School in Africa, our students actively raise funds that directly impact students across the globe for Christ.
