We are seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Worker to join our team at the school cafeteria, serving meals to students from preschool through 12th grade. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria to ensure a safe dining experience for our students.
Responsibilities
- Part time cafeteria worker
- Help to prepare and serve a variety of healthy, balanced meals and snacks according to menu plans and dietary requirements
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards
- Restock and organize cafeteria supplies and equipment
- Clean and sanitize the cafeteria, including tables, floors, and kitchen areas
- Assist with the set-up and break-down of the cafeteria before and after meal service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or cafeteria setting, preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods
