At Plaza Heights Christian Academy, we believe that education is more than just acquiring knowledge; it is about shaping character and instilling Biblical values that will guide students throughout their lives.

By integrating a Biblical worldview into every aspect of our curriculum, we equip students to navigate the challenges of the world with wisdom, compassion, and integrity, and to impact the world for Christ.

Our Mission

To teach Biblical truth in an environment of academic excellence that prepares students to impact the world for Christ.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy

PHCA Is:

  • A Christ centered, caring, academic community with a 25 year legacy

  • Striving to energize and equip each student to succeed in whatever path the Lord directs

  • Fully accredited and staffed by experienced and certified teachers

  • Determined to see our students impact their communities and become purposeful, productive, Christian adults.

Our Vision

To develop lifelong learners and servant leaders who fully live out their purpose in the world for Christ.

At Plaza Heights Christian Academy, we understand that a strong partnership between school and home is necessary if we are to see our vision come to fruition. Our goal is to provide not only academic excellence but also to instill values that align with Biblical values that are being taught at home and in your local church body to prepare students to make an eternal impact.

Plaza Heights Vision

Your child will spend over 12,000 hours at school during their most formative years; having an education rooted in Biblical truth is absolutely critical for children in today’s world. Our dedicated teachers work hand in hand with parents to ensure that every child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for success academically and helps to build a strong spiritual foundation. Partnering with parents and echoing the truth of Biblical principles on a daily basis is one of the things that sets PHCA apart from other schools, and helps us to accomplish our mission of preparing students to impact the world for Christ.

“We have three kids that attend PHCA and we love it. Because of the small environment, all of the staff know my kids names and truly care, they’re not just a number in a huge school! With the small size, there’s accountability in behavior and grades so my kids are thriving in both areas. The academic rigor is higher than public school but it’s small enough to help the struggling learner, too.”

Plaza Heights Objectives

Our Objectives

  • Encouraging students to receive Jesus Christ as their personal savior
  • Teaching that the Lord Jesus Christ is to be preeminent in all of life, including education.
  • Urging students to involve themselves in some form of Christian service.
  • Prompting students to participate in civic responsibilities.
  • Assisting parents in training their children to be effective Christians in the world, by developing within each student a discerning Christian mind

School Culture

At PHCA, we like to focus on the positive! One way we do this is through the use of Positive Behavior Incentive Systems. Our school wide expectations are posted throughout our building and teachers and staff consistently reinforce desired behaviors of all of our students.

Christ calls us to love Him and love one another, and through our 3 R’s; we strive to encourage all our students to do the same. Plaza Lions are always responsible, respectful, and ready!

Plaza Heights School Culture

Biblical Basis for the 3 R’s:

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
Luke 16:10

“For each will have to bear his own load.”
Gal 6:5

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
Col. 3:23

“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”
James 4:17

“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Matt 7:12

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
Romans 12:10

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”
Phil 2:3

“Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Ephesians 5:21

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?”
Matt 5:43-45

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”
John 13:34

“So the last will be first, and the first last.”
Matt 20:16

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1

“Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
Ephesians 5:15-17

“A person finds joy in giving an apt reply – and how good is a timely word!”
Proverbs 15:23

The community here was so welcoming…these guys make me feel at home.

Once I came to a school that was Christ-centered it really showed me how lost I was…it taught me to trust God in all things I do. I don’t have to worry anymore. If you trust God He’ll show you the way.
