Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in classroom management and organization
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help or attention
- Collaborate with the teacher to prepare and set up learning materials and activities
- Monitor student progress and communicate any concerns or observations to the teacher
- Escort students to and from various locations within the school
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic, spiritual, and personal growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the lead teacher
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
